Twins Overpowered By Dodgers

Tight game falls apart for the Twins in later innings

Updated Saturday May 7, 2016 by Colin Sullivan.

Despite a gutsy effort by starting pitcher, Seth Richardson, the wins fail to score and ultimately fall to the Dodgers 8-0. Dodgers SP Trevor Johnstone was virtually untouchable during his 5 complete innings of 2 hit ball, as the Twins' frigid bats struggled yet again.

The Twins kept it close in the early goings, but allowed 6 runs in the final 3 frames leaving questions about the strength of their bullpen. The Twins look revive their bats against the Orioles on Friday.

No walk in the park: The Twins drew their first walk of the season on a 3-1 pitch to OF, Colin Sullivan, snapping a 19+ inning streak without a single free pass.
