No-no for Bobo!

Updated Monday June 4, 2018 by Twins.

On Friday, June 1st 2018 Rob Chartrand pitched the first no-hitter in Tri-City Twins franchise history.

In a 17-0 win over the Cobras Chartrand faced the minimum, retiring twenty-one of twenty-one. Just a single Cobras' hitter reached base; drawing a base on balls in the fourth. The snafu was quickly erased by a line drive caught by Twin's shortstop Sean Hotzak who doubled off the snoozing Cobra leaning too far off base.

Though Chartrand's pitching was effective it was anything over but overpowering (as is tradition). With just two strike-outs on the night the Twins defense was busy with Kevin Herd leading the way with seven 5-3 assists.

The Twins' bats were alive plating 17 runs on 13 hits.

With the historic win the Twins reached 500 on the season with a 3-3 record.
